So far in my pregnancy, I haven’t had any weird or specific cravings. I have just been craving ANYTHING and EVERYTHING at ALL TIMES, to a point beyond my personal control. Last week, a facebook friend posted a picture of their lunch (grilled cheese with tomato soup), which prompted me to make a bigger & better version for our dinner (despite Jared’s protests). And just now as I was sitting on the couch watching Dancing with the Stars (at 10pm, mind you), a Kraft Mac & Cheese commercial came on TV that made my stomach growl. I tore open the cupboards hoping to see a blue box of heaven, but to my disappointment, there was nothing of the sort (apparently the non-pregnant version of me went grocery shopping last). Since Jared wasn’t home to “ask” to run to the store, I settled for spaghetti noodles drenched in butter, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. It wasn’t as good as Kraft, but it did the job.
I now start the bidding on Ashley’s weight gain from now – April!
Speaking of cravings, today I got to satisfy a MAJOR craving by having brunch at Key's Cafe in Minneapolis with my Mom & Tom! Jared and I were in town for a work meeting, and we never fail to take advantage of the time to see family...
