As invites for our first shower are in the mail (hosted by the lovely Stacy Park!), we decided to get our registry started tonight. So, after Jared spent a 10 hour day working at Target, I dragged him BACK to our local Target with me to let the zapping fun begin! Similar to registering for our wedding, we felt completely overwhelmed with all of the options, and realized that we really didn't have a clue what we needed or what we were doing. Luckily, I was armed with a "Baby Bargains" book that had item ratings, so we could chose the best monitors, strollers, carriers, etc. But, looking back at our registry today, I can already see a lot of changes we need to make. What also makes it hard is not knowing the sex of the baby - I think we're going for the unisex duckie theme! (even if Jared thinks it's a little girly).

In addition to Target, we'll be registering at Babies 'R Us.
Highlight of my day: When we walked to the Customer Service counter and asked to start a baby registry, the woman at the desk looked at me funny and asked, "Do you mean wedding registry?". I replied with, "No....baby." She asks, "Who pregnant?" I replied, "Me, about 3 1/2 months." She raised her eyebrows, looked me up & down and said, "Daaang girl, I can't even tell... you look good!" I wanted to hug her, because I knew I wouldn't be hearing that for much longer!
