MN Bound

This past week I spent some more time in MN for training, and while I missed Jared, it was nice to spend some time with family and friends. I was fortunate to get to spend some time with my grandparents on the Park side, who I don't get to see very often, and it was fun to talk to my Grandma about the Christening gown she plans to make for baby. We hope to incorporate my wedding gown fabric in some way, and I am so excited to see the end result!

The following is a pic of my mom, sister, BFF Lindsay and I at Rojo in St. Louis Park. Amy surprised me with the baby's second gift - a copy of "Goodnight Moon". I can't wait to read it to our little one for the first time, just like my parents read to me.

This weekend was pretty low-key, but Jared and I made a pretty exciting purchase: a new king-size bed! After 6 years of sleeping on a hand-me-down queen mattress from my dad, this purchase was long overdue and will be much appreciated, especially as I continue to grow.
