So Jared and I have been debating whether or not to find out the sex of the baby, and the "gender cake reveal" idea came into the conversation. This is basically where you give a sealed envelope containing the gender to a local baker, and the cake is either pink or blue on the inside, so you don't know until you cut the cake. It is a fun way to find out with your entire family.
We still aren't sure what we want to do, but in the research process Jared e-mailed me a link with shower cake ideas. You guys will have to let me know your thoughts on these... ;)

I am sure you know my view point on the Gender Reveal...I'd say Heck YES, do it!!! So if you need suggestions or ideas, feel fee to ask away. Also I think you should get one of those nasty cakes, instead of a grooms cake it could be a daddy cake? no?? :)
