It's Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas (but not look it...)

While it may not look a lot like Christmas in Charlotte, with the grass still green and Jared and I still able to go for walks in t-shirts, it has at least started to feel more like Christmas! I finally finished my final paper for my Business Environment class (praying for a B!) and have a short work week this week (yay!). We also had a fun weekend getting in the spirit. Friday night I joined some friends at a local bar to hear a girlfriend sing while Jared worked the "secret sale" at Target, Saturday we went to see the performance of The Nutcracker at Belk Theatre, and last night we made our annual gingerbread house (while I had to hold Jared back from eating it the whole time)!

On a side note: I got my health insurance screening blood test results back this weekend, and all of my levels were normal except my cholesterol...which was "low" vs. average! Who has low cholesterol?!? It wasn't alarmingly low (130 mg/dl, vs. the normal range of 140-200mg/dl), and it was my "bad" cholesterol that was below normal, but being pregnant of course I still start to worry, "What does that mean? Is that ok for the baby?" From all of the research I did online, it seems like it's more of a good thing than bad thing, but I'm still brining it up with my doctor this week!
