26 Weeks

This has been a busy week of work and travel, and I think the little guy caught on as he was SUPER active this week! I couldn't believe how much he was moving while I was on the airplane to New Orleans - I thought any minute he was going to break out of the jail he's in. It made me wonder whether he could feel the pressure change in his ears. Doubtful, but you never know.

We are in full swing of getting the apartment ready for baby, and have been spending the majority of our weekend days out shopping for baby furniture and other odds & ends. Sadly, he will have better bedroom furtniture than we do!

We have a lot to look forward to this week, with our ultrasound coming up on Wednesday and going home for my showers on Thursday! I can't wait!!

Here is this week's belly pic, which should be holding a 14 inch long and 1.7 pound baby. In exciting developments this week, he can now open his eyes and see his environment, and he should be starting to sprout hair on his head!
