Happy New Year!

The above picture was taken on New Year's Eve, 2010. As we rang in this New Year, I couldn't help but look back at last year and reflect on how much has changed and how exciting 2011 has been. Little did we know when this picture was taken that within the next 365 days that we would have sold our condo in Minneapolis, moved to Charlotte, NC, and be expecting a baby! It makes me grateful for all the wonderful things that have come our way this year, and also anxious to see what 2012 might have in store. We know by NYE, we will likely be celebrating at home with our new baby, and can't wait!

This year we celebrated NYE with a nice dinner at Copper, and after saw the Broadway musical Rock of Ages. We both absolutely LOVED the show (and the music!) and would highly recommend seeing it when it comes to your town! They are also turning it into a movie this year, so we're looking forward to that as well.

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures at the show (Jared hates when I ask strangers to take our pic, lol), but here are some photos from the night:

We hope everyone had a fun and safe NYE, and that 2012 is a happy year for all!
