Labor Day (no, not me!)

This past weekend was Labor Day, and we have to cancel our big plans to go tailgating at Clemson with friends for the weekend because Jared had to work. I still could’ve gone, but being the only sober person within a ten mile radius without Jared’s support didn’t sound too tempting. We were sad not to be able to go, especially since we don’t get many opportunities for social interaction down here, but we’re just happy that Jared finally has a great job that he really likes.

For those of you who don’t know, Jared is following in his brother’s footsteps and recently accepted a job in Assets Protection at Target! It has been a great opportunity, especially since they have talked to him about advancement opportunities after he’s done with college next summer, and since there’s a chance he could transfer to a MN store once we move home. But poor Jared had kind of a crazy first week, as it was the same week we found out I was pregnant!
