Everyone Loves a Pregnant Lady

Since I've been "showing", never in my life had I had more strangers smile in my direction, offer me a seat, help me with "heavy lifting", or want to participate in small talk with me for no reason. I knew I entered a new realm when I was able to convince a Delta ticket agent to give us free checked luggage on our way home from MN, which would NEVER happen under normal circumstances. Us preggos even have our own "Expectant Mother Parking" spots! Do people just really love pregnant ladies, or are we the new handicapped? Either way...I'll take it!
