Eviction

Tonight I am writing little dude's eviction notice. We all want to meet you soon...so let's get this show on the road buddy! Tonight I've been trying a handful of "wives tales" ways of getting labor started, none of which I'm sure work, but I figured they're worth a shot. Jared and I took a long walk tonight (which for me, also consisted of skipping and jumping jacks). When we stopped at a baseball diamond for Jared to use the bathroom, I decided to run up & down the stairs a few times as I waited, and when a couple with a new baby walked past the woman yelled, "I give you serious credit...I couldn't even walk at that point!" Haha. While it did get some contractoins going, despite my efforts, I am definitely not in or near labor. I have a feeling this is going to be a loooong week...I can't wait for my doctor's appointment tomorrow to see what he has to say!

This weekend was fun in spite of our anticipation and anxiousness. We tried out two new restaurants (Midwood Smokehouse & The CowFish), saw Cabin in the Woods (worth seeing if you like horror flicks), went to the Charlotte Grand Prix festival (bike races), and spent a ton of time outside at the parks. It was a perfect weekend weather wise and there was a lot going on...we even took in a random little league game! It made me really excited for our little guy to play baseball and for us to spend Saturdays at the baseball field.

And now, I must go console my husband who was REALLY hoping that he wouldn't have to go into work tomorrow :)
