This past week has definitely felt like the calm before the storm. With most everything ready, we're just in waiting mode. To keep my mind busy, I've used some free time to catch up with friends while I have the freedom to do so! I went out to dinner with a co-worker on Wednesday, our friends Kim & Jonathan on Thursday, and today I'm having coffee with two other co-workers, one who recently moved to Charlotte and the other who's in town from Philadelphia visiting her family.
Last night Jared & I went to see "21 Jump Street" which was HILARIOUS. We both thought it was one of the funnier movies that has come out in awhile, so I'd definitely reccomend it. It was also a full moon last night so I was wondering if that might help jump-start labor but so far...no luck! Our boy must not be ready to face the real world yet, and I don't really blame him :)
I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend. Tonight Jared and I will be enjoying our "Easter Eve" tradition, which consists of eating a huge meal of cheese tortellini with chicken and pink sauce in front of the annual broadcast of "The Ten Commandments". Tommorow we'll go to church and brunch, and maybe come home to boil some eggs...I wouldn't mind having some quick protein available in the fridge for when this baby comes!
