Today was Jared's first day back at work, and Layne and my first day alone. I was expecting the day to be easy, as the past week has been, but Layne must have sensed that something was different because he was fussier today than he has been since we've had him home. He spit up most of his morning and afternoon feedings, and then was acting fussy/unsatisfied as a result (and wouldn't sleep). It was stressful and I ended up holding him most of the day to get him to feel better. I was afraid he was sick, but he wasn't running a temp, so I held off on calling the doctor (but I will tomorrow if this repeats itself). Finally around 3pm he fell asleep, so I put him in the stroller and we went on a long walk (which he loves). He slept the whole time and for a bit after we got home, and of course, started to act more like his happy self just before Jared got home.
Although the fun didn't stop there...when Jared went to change his diaper, Layne decided to projectile poo the instant he got the diaper off, and when Jared was scrambling to clean it up Layne peed all over himself! That's when Jared yelled for help :) Oh good Lord...
Even though he was a handful today, he is still cute as ever!
