You know you're a mom when...

...you spend hours analyzing and researching the color of your kid's poop. Layne has had hunter green poop for the past two weeks, with a pretty mucousy consistency, so I'm trying to figure out what that could mean. It seems like it's nothing to be too worried about, but could be one of three things: 1) a food intolerance from something he is getting through my breastmilk, most likely dairy or soy, 2) a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in my breastmilk, or 3) he's picking up the green from all of the vegetables (especially spinach) that I've been eating lately. We go to the doctor for his two-month checkup tomorrow, so I'm hoping we can figure it out, and I'm also hoping it's not a food intolerance because I really don't want to fully give up dairy and soy!! I'll let you know once the mystery has been solved.
